Ricardo Beverly Hills is seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative design, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the latest trends in fashion and travel. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing luggage and travel bags that align with our brand's aesthetic and quality standards. This is a full-time in-person position based in our Algona, WA office.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Portfolio required upon application
- 5-10 years Industrial Design experience in fashionable soft goods & hard goods.
- Passion for working at the intersection of designing and developing consumer products.
- Ability to rapidly ideate, work independently, innovate and describe concepts clearly to enable the creation of products from concept to final preproduction stage.
- Proficiency in creating product renders that clearly communicate a specific vision/execution.
- Strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office (emphasis on Excel), CAD/3D modeling software.
- Sensitivity to color selection, shade matching, pattern and material composition. Experience in creating fashion patterns/prints a plus.
- High degree of organization, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Pro-active personality with a desire to participate in a strong team environment, with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Advanced English language and clear written/spoken communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create compelling product solutions utilizing existing and new materials.
- Execute detailed tech packs, BOM’s, and sample requests for factory handoff.
- Communicate daily with overseas development and factory partners in a clear manner.
- Research market and industry trends, participate in field research, and develop presentations.
- Contribute to product design briefs/direction alongside the management team.
- Actively learn and continually improve upon operational and manufacturing processes.
- Opportunity to travel to Asia (up to 2x per year) to work directly with factories and suppliers. Occasional domestic travel for trade shows and field research.
