Industrial Designer

An Industrial Designer works with the Product, Product Development, and Production Departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Product ideation with Creative Director
- Creation of drawings for product development
- Creation of drawings for product documentation and custom product
- Creation and maintenance of product supportive materials
- Custom quoting, custom order processing and custom order maintenance
Qualifications include:
- Experience in furniture manufacturing and/or interior design
- Mastery of SolidWorks modeling software
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to organize large amounts of data; ability to multi-task several projects; solid time management skills.
- Knowledge of materials and processes associated with furniture manufacturing (lighting, case goods, upholstery)
- Working knowledge of KeyShot rendering software
- Capable of working the entire Adobe Creative suite, with advanced skills in Illustrator and InDesign
- Simple photography skills
- Capable of working in MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel
- Demonstrates the desire to work collaboratively, modeling qualities of dependability, reliability, and personal accountability during all activities
- Critical thinking & problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills, high attention to detail & ability to meet strict deadlines
- Eager to bring new ideas to the table and challenge old ways of looking at things
- Respect for past practices and the knowledge those practices still yield
