Our client in the eyewear industry is hiring an Industrial Designer!

Position Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior designer who is eager to take on significant creative responsibilities and contribute to a brand that's redefining accessory design. You will work closely with our Creative Director to conceptualize and develop a diverse range of products, including sunglasses, footwear, and leather goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Creative Director to conceptualize and design innovative products that align with the brand’s aesthetic and vision.
Create detailed design sketches and high-quality graphics using Adobe Illustrator.
Utilize iPad sketching techniques to generate ideas and refine designs rapidly.
Support the 3D modeling of products using Rhino, Brush, or Blender to bring designs to life.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new product development.
Prepare presentations and design boards to communicate ideas effectively.
Assist in the development of prototypes and work with manufacturers to ensure design integrity.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in product design, preferably in fashion accessories or automotive design.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; experience with 3D modeling software (Rhino, Brush, Blender) is a plus.
Strong sketching skills, particularly using digital tools like the iPad.
A versatile design approach, capable of adapting to various product categories.
A passion for fashion and an eye for detail, with the ability to think outside the box.
