Overview
We're seeking a talented design intern to join our team at Graham Packaging, providing you with the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to our B2B blue chip customer base. You'll be instrumental in shaping new concepts and developing ideas across our product range. This role is all about paying close attention to detail when it comes to 3D shapes and forms, while also keeping the end consumer in mind. You'll get hands-on experience using various techniques, from hand sketches to CAD design, to bring customer ideas to life. Your main responsibilities will involve assisting the creative team with tasks like brainstorming, sketching, and exploring different design ideas. Throughout your journey, you'll receive valuable guidance and mentorship from our experienced Design Leadership

Skills and Proficiencies
- Strong proficiency in design software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, KeyShot, & Adobe Suite.
- Expert in sketching and conceptualization, translating ideas into tangible designs.
- Creative thinking and a strong portfolio showcasing design projects and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present and articulate design concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to feedback for continuous improvement.
- Passion for staying informed about industry trends and new design methodologies.
- Exceptional design sensibility for crafting visually appealing and user-friendly products.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Collaborative work approach, effective in cross-functional interactions to foster teamwork.
- Well-versed in consumer-led design processes, ensuring products align with market needs.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities, tackling challenges with creativity and innovation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, foundational for effective collaboration.
- Organizational ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining attention to detail.
- Having experience in both AI and UX design would be an added advantage.

- Working towards a degree in Industrial Design, Fine Arts (BFA), or a relevant field.
- Fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States.

- Mainly operate within an office environment, with the possibility of some flexible work hours.
Compensation Statement
The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
