If so, as a Junior Industrial Designer for Q-Tran, you will help drive the growth of our product line of lighting solutions, as well as support the custom design needs of our customers. This is a high-growth, fast paced company with a drive to create innovative products that will make an impact on the world of LED lighting. As a member of product development you will be working with a talented team of designers and engineers to create lighting fixtures that are original, effective, and aesthetically pleasing.
Specifically, you will…
- Contribute significantly to developing Q-Tran’s product roadmap
- Collaborate with engineering, sales/marketing, and production to maximize design effectiveness, efficiency and impact to the customers goals
- Handle all design documentation and specification for off-the-shelf and customized products
- Synthesize user needs, business factors, research insights and branding into design results
This is a hands-on role where you will move from concept to drawings to production in rapid succession. The ability to generate quality, thoughtful and well-engineered designs quickly is a must.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- B.S of Industrial Design or product development/ design management
- Portfolio submission required with application
- 1-3 years’ professional experience as an Industrial Designer
- Fusion 360/Solidworks, AutoCAD, Indesign, Illustrator - a must.
- Experience in lighting/ power supply industry a plus
- Experience with Molding or Aluminum Extruding design a plus
- Experience with package design is a plus

Pay: $58,656.00 - $60,000.00 per year
