Role Description The Jewelry Designer will work on-site in Surat in a full-time capacity, creating original jewelry concepts and translating them into detailed designs for production. Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching and drawing designs, developing fashion jewelry collections, and refining product concepts in line with brand aesthetics and market trends. The role involves collaborating with production teams and merchandisers to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with quality standards. The Jewelry Designer will also use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create technical drawings and 3D models, prepare specification sheets, and support prototype development. Regular tasks include researching design trends, selecting materials and finishes, and presenting design ideas to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Jewelry Design skills, with experience developing concepts from idea to finished product.
- Candidates should possess Drawing and sketching skills to visualize and iterate design ideas clearly and accurately.
- Candidates should possess Fashion Jewelry and Product Design skills, including knowledge of styles, trends, and customer preferences.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
- Candidates should ideally have knowledge of gemstones, metals, and manufacturing processes relevant to jewelry production.
- Candidates should demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should have effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, production, and merchandising teams.
- A diploma or degree in jewelry design, product design, fashion design, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
