Terms of service

Effective September 29, 2026

These terms of service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of justidjobs.com and the services offered there (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Anson Cheung Design LLC (“we”, “us” or “our”), a California limited liability company based in Sacramento, California.

By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Site.

Our handling of personal information is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms.

1. Who may use the Site

You may use the Site only if you are at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract with us, and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. What the Site is

Just ID Jobs is a free, curated index of industrial design job listings gathered from employer career pages, licensed data feeds and publicly published job feeds. It is a directory and nothing more. We are not an employment agency, a staffing firm, a recruiter or a party to any hiring process. We do not submit applications on your behalf, we do not screen candidates for employers, and we receive no fee from any employer for a listing appearing here.

No employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship is created between you and us by your use of the Site.

3. Listings and third-party content

Every listing on the Site originates with a third party, and every apply link leads away from the Site to that third party. We select and classify listings using automated checks and human review, and we remove listings that we find or are told are closed. Even so, we do not verify the accuracy, legality or current status of any listing, and we make no representation that a role is open, that the terms described in it are correct, or that the employer is who it says it is.

Listings are provided for information only. Any decision you make in reliance on a listing, including the decision to apply, is yours alone. Your dealings with an employer are solely between you and that employer, and we are not responsible for them.

4. Content you submit

The Site invites you to submit an image of your industrial design work for the homepage backdrop, to report a listing, and to subscribe to an email digest (together, “Your Content”). The following applies to everything you submit.

4.1 You keep what is yours.

You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in Your Content. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to us.

4.2 License you grant us.

You grant Anson Cheung Design LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, resize, display and distribute Your Content on the Site, in our email digests, and in our own social media posts about the Site, for as long as Your Content appears there. This license is limited to operating and promoting the Site. We do not sell Your Content, license it to third parties for their own use, or use it to train machine learning models.

4.3 Credit.

Wherever we display a submitted image we credit it to the maker by name, with that name linking to the portfolio address given at submission. If you would like the credit corrected, tell us and we will correct it.

4.4 What you promise us.

By submitting Your Content you represent and warrant that you created it or otherwise hold all rights necessary to grant the license in section 4.2; that Your Content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other right of any person; that it contains no confidential or client-restricted material you are not free to publish; and that the information you give us with it, including your name and portfolio address, is accurate.

4.5 Withdrawing a submission.

You may withdraw a submitted image at any time by emailing hello@justidjobs.com. We will remove it from the Site and from any future email or post within a reasonable time. Emails already delivered and posts already published cannot be recalled, and copies retained in routine backups are deleted on our ordinary backup cycle.

5. Removal and takedown requests

If material on the Site is yours and you want it corrected or taken down, we will act on that. This applies whether or not the material was submitted by you: an image, a company logo, a job description, a name, or anything else.

5.1 How to ask.

Email hello@justidjobs.com with a link to the page where the material appears, enough detail to identify the material on that page, and a line telling us what your relationship to it is. We aim to respond within three business days and to remove or correct valid requests promptly. You do not need to make a formal legal claim, and you do not need a lawyer to ask.

5.2 Copyright notices under the DMCA.

We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. A notice should be sent to the address in section 16 and should include all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if several works are covered by one notice.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough information for us to locate it, such as the page address.
  • Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf.

On receiving a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the material. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice containing your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed in error, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district. We may restore the material after ten business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed an action.

5.3 Repeat infringers.

We will remove content from, and refuse further submissions by, anyone who repeatedly submits material they do not have the right to submit.

6. Our content

The Site itself, including its design, text, layout, code and the Just ID Jobs name and marks, belongs to Anson Cheung Design LLC and is protected by intellectual property law. You may link to the Site and you may share individual listings. You may not copy the Site or a substantial part of the listings database, frame the Site, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests we endorse you.

Company names, logos and job descriptions shown on the Site belong to the employers they identify and are displayed to identify those employers. Their presence here is not a claim of any right in them and is not a statement that the employer endorses the Site.

7. Acceptable use

The forms on this Site are open on purpose: you can report a listing, submit an image, or subscribe without an account. In exchange, you agree not to:

  • Submit work that is not yours, or content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, obscene or infringing.
  • File reports you know to be false, or submit anything through a form for a purpose other than the one it exists for.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically copy the Site or its listings by any automated means.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Site, attempt to gain access to any part of it you are not authorized to reach, or probe it for vulnerabilities.
  • Use the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages, or to collect anyone’s personal information.

We may remove content, decline submissions and block access at our discretion, with or without notice, to enforce this section.

8. Email we send

If you subscribe to the email digest, you consent to receive at the address you gave a welcome message, the weekly digest on Mondays when the week brought roles matching your search, and, after a month with no match, one note with the closest roles on the board. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link and the header that lets your mail client offer its own one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error free, or that the listings on it are accurate, complete or current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anson Cheung Design LLC and its members, officers and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, opportunity, employment, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, whether based in contract, tort, statute or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100). The Site is provided free of charge, and this limit reflects that.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent the law permits.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anson Cheung Design LLC and its members, officers and agents from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of content you submit, your use of the Site, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You and we agree that the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page changes when we do. Material changes will be reflected there before they take effect, and your continued use of the Site after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede any prior understanding on the subject.
