We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Designer with a passion for structural design to develop creative and cost-effective consumer packaging and displays. The Designer will be supporting designs for sales agents along the east coast. Perm Hire role with an excellent organization with over 80 years in business.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills:
- Create quick-turn photorealistic concept renderings/ illustrations using SolidWorks.
- Produce detailed engineering specifications on a part level, for quote or production.
- Effectively manage lead times in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
- Innovate by thinking creatively and delivering visually appealing, practical solutions.
- Collaborate with design teams or client marketing teams.
- Graphic design is required but not a primary focus.

Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Strong ability to effectively communicate specifications with international offices.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Skilled in conceptualizing ideas through hand sketches or marker renderings.
- Capable of managing projects from initiation to completion, with a willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Reside in the Rhode Island or Southern Massachusetts area.
- Maintain a dedicated home office to support hybrid work and remain available for travel in the Northeast if needed.
- Familiarity with retailer environments, including Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Best Buy, and club stores.
