Fine Jewelry CAD Designer (Remote)

Frank Darling is a female-founded fine jewelry brand making custom engagement rings feel exciting, personal, and refreshingly human. Our modern, sustainability-minded designs have been featured in Vogue, WSJ, Bloomberg, Glossy, and more.

We have an immediate, on-site opening for a Fine Jewelry CAD Designer. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented diamond jewelry professional with strong interpersonal skills that thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with CAD team to prepare CAD files for new designs and custom orders.
• Collaborate with product development team to understand design requirements.
• Translate 2D sketches and 3d files into production ready CAD files.
• Received feedback and make revisions to CAD files to capture design intent.

Requirements and Experience:

• Prior experience in CAD for fine jewelry
• Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience with Rhino, Matrix, including SubD modeling.
• Familiarity with fine jewelry terminology and design
• Ability to anticipate manufacturing issues
• Ability to interpret sketches and ensure they are accurately translated into 3D
• Familiarity with fine jewelry construction and tolerances
• Bench jewelry making experience a plus

Job Details:

• USD $700 - $1,000 per month, based on experience
