About the Role

Rotoris is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Watch CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of watch design, 3D modelling, and watch manufacturing processes, with the ability to transform creative concepts into accurate, production-ready models.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D CAD models for watches, including cases, dials, hands, straps, bracelets, and other components.
• Translate design concepts, sketches, and references into precise, production-ready CAD files.
• Work on intricate detailing, proportions, dimensions, and component fitting.
• Prepare realistic 3D renders for design presentations and approvals.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements, technical specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with design, production, and merchandising teams to develop new watch collections.
• Modify designs based on feedback while maintaining design accuracy and manufacturing feasibility.
• Stay updated with the latest watch design trends, materials, techniques, and CAD technologies.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in watch CAD designing or a related product-design field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino 3D, SolidWorks, or other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of watch components, materials, manufacturing processes, and finishing techniques.
• Knowledge of materials such as stainless steel, titanium, ceramic, and different strap materials is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple designs and meet deadlines.
