Accessories Design intern

Looking for an organized, motivated, and creative individual with interest in the accessories design/PD industry. Categories include hair accessories, jewelry, handbags, soft accessories, hats, and more. Candidate will assist in a range of design and development tasks, working directly with the Lele Sadoughi design + PD team. You will gain real, hands-on experience and insight into the Accessories industry.

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone in Jewelry/Accessories Design with interest in Product Development. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, creative, organized, and has good team spirit!

This internship is unpaid and offers school credit. Minimum of 12 hours per week.

Who you are:

• Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Knowledge of technical specs
• Ability to work in a fast growing environment and collaborate effectively as a team member
• Strong verbal & written communication
• Passion for trend driven accessories & color
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lele and the Design team with creative projects
• Assist with PD/Production order placements
• Manage materials & samples
• Sample comments & correction
• Sample organization & management
• Assist with sketches & technical specs for all categories
• Maintain material library
• Pull inspiration and market research
• Organize and keep up to date all reference samples and sourcing tears
