We’re looking for a designer to create modular furniture SKUs for mass-market sales and repeatable B2B projects. The role focuses on developing standardised, production-ready products that balance design, functionality, cost, and ease of manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop modular product SKUs with defined dimensions, configurations, materials, finishes, and hardware.
- Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and SketchUp 3D models for manufacturing and product presentation.
- Prepare cost estimates and support pricing and quotations.
- Work with manufacturers and vendors to prototype, refine, and standardise products.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant design experience; modular furniture experience is highly desired.
- Degree in Architecture.
- AutoCAD and SketchUp 3D proficiency are mandatory.
- Coohom proficiency is highly desired.
- Strong understanding of modular systems, joinery, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong material selection skills, commercial awareness, and excellent communication.
