We are seeking an Mid-level Industrial Designer who:
- Can lead client meetings and presentations, ensuring every product touch point is considered
- Go from brief to design handoff with ease
- Worked on a diverse range of consumer products and packaging
- Has world-class form and aesthetically driven skills that shine
- You understand form, function and how they work together to design products with a ‘reason to exist’
- Work with marketing teams, engineers and suppliers at every stage of the product development process.
- With the desire for constant improvement even after production
The Job
- Lead a design project from start to finish
- Interface directly with all teams and the direct of industrial design to bring projects to life.
- Work with the US, Hong Kong, and Chinese team members to develop great products within the program constraints.
- Manage the design process from concept through production
- Extend the design language to all touch points (Packaging, Web, UI)
You should apply for this role if you
- Have at least three (5) years of experience as an industrial designer producing work of the highest quality.
- Have worked with a top design consultancy or studio.
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit, and the desire to lead.
- Have a passion for all things design and innovation and using design as a strategic tool in business.
- Have a strong aesthetic sense with the proven ability to manifest a vision and brand in a way that stimulates a person’s senses and emotions.
- Have outstanding verbal presentation skills, and are comfortable presenting to C-level executives.
- Have advanced expertise in CAD modeling, rendering and illustration using software such as Rhino, Onshape, Solidworks, Keyshot, and Photoshop.
