About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Footwear Designer – Performance Innovation to join a high-performing product creation team focused on developing next-generation performance footwear. This role will lead the design and execution of innovative concepts from ideation through prototype development, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring breakthrough products to market.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovative footwear concepts from idea generation through product realization.
• Create performance-driven design solutions that meet athlete and consumer needs.
• Develop and validate new product concepts through prototyping and testing.
• Translate consumer, market, and performance insights into compelling footwear innovations.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Management, Engineering, Development, and Manufacturing teams.
• Lead multiple projects independently while managing evolving priorities and timelines.
• Present concepts, prototypes, research findings, and innovation strategies to stakeholders.
• Explore new materials, construction techniques, and technologies to advance product performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing cleated or field-sport footwear.
• 3D design capabilities using tools such as Rhino, CLO, Blender, Gravity Sketch, or similar.
• Experience with AI-powered design tools such as Vizcom.
• Background in innovation, R&D, or advanced concept development.
• Experience working within large, matrixed organizations.
