CAD Jewellery designer

We’re Hiring: Jewellery CAD Designer | So/Facet

So/Facet is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Designer with a background in fine diamond jewellery. If you have strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Role: Jewellery CAD Designer

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Experience: 2-3 years

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to prepare CAD files for new designs and custom orders
• Interpret 2D sketches and translate them accurately into 3D models
• Incorporate feedback and revise CAD files to capture design intent

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in industry-standard jewellery CAD software (Rhino, Matrix or similar)
• Strong attention to detail, with an understanding of gold and lab-grown diamond jewellery manufacturing
• Familiarity with gold weight, stone setting and metalwork constraints
• Ability to anticipate manufacturing issues before they arise
• Knowledge of jewellery materials, manufacturing processes and finishing techniques
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Diploma or degree in Jewellery Design, Computer-Aided Design, Industrial Design or a related field
• Prior experience as a jewellery CAD designer (mandatory)
